About Us

Our Story:

Being a part of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism), and also a HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) instructor and practitioner, I needed historical armour for my club that not only looks aesthetically pleasing but also functions properly, as the originals do. My mentality has always been “I want to be able to move and feel exactly what these warriors of the past felt, so why wear armour that doesn’t truly represent that?”.

After many years of designing, training and building a team capable of this task, I finally achieved that goal for my students and myself. I was thrilled to have fulfilled this challenge I set for myself but I wanted to continue growing this dream and to share my accomplishments with others around the world who also love and appreciate what I have to offer.

And so, Aegis Armour was born!
