Maximilian style close helmet - Mild Steel

This type of Maximillian helmet combines the rounded Italian shape with the crisp, vertical fluting, crest, and corded borders that evolved from German late-medieval armor. The fluting deflected projectiles and made the plate stronger without adding weight. Made from 14 gauge mild steel and utilizes hooks and pins for keeping the visor locked. Features a standing "kickstand" arm to secure the visor up when resting. 26.5" inner skull circumference, unlined.

If you select stainless it will be made to order and take approximately 6-8 months to complete. We can do 12, 14, 16 or 18 gauge stainless.
