Maximillian style close helmet - Mild Steel

This type of Maximillian helmet combines the rounded Italian shape with the crisp, vertical fluting, crest, and corded borders that evolved from German late-medieval armor. The fluting deflected projectiles and made the plate stronger without adding weight.

Made from 14 gauge mild steel and utilizes hooks and pins for keeping the visor locked. Features a standing "kickstand" arm to secure the visor up when resting. 26.5" inner skull circumference, unlined.

Due to storage conditions some of these helmets may contain very light surface rust which can be removed with an abrasive or rust remover solvent, we have discounted the helmets accordingly.
